Photos and obituary
My mother, Anna L. Shafer, died on August 18, 2005 at age 80. She and my father, Richard (Dick) Shafer raised four children on a farm near Caney, Kansas. We all loved them, and I offer the linked images as a memorial.
My father, Richard (Dick) G. Shafer, wrote an autobiography with my brother Glenn, which Glenn self-published in 1988, and is posted on Glenn's website. My father died in 1997. "Daddy's book" has been a continuing joy (and reference) for all the family.
